    It is certainly not a requirement. Christiane Amanpour, Campbell Brown and John King, for example, do not have graduate degrees. Wolf Blitzer does have a Master’s Degree.

    Take a look at Wikipedia to find out more about the background of CNN reporters.

    I’m more familiar with the backgrounds of reporters and anchors at ABC News. Many of them do not have graduate degrees (including Charles Gibson and Diane Sawyer), but ABC’s reporters graduated from some of the best universities in the country (Princeton, Harvard, Dartmouth).
